She’s the perfect combination of sexy and badass. She’s also a genderbend character created by fans. You can find her in the Super Mario Odyssey universe or you can be her at your next costume party or cosplay con!

It’s important to note ahead of time that becoming Bowsette is going to be a little tricky without buying some pre-fabricated items. She’s a complex lady and her look reflects that. We recommend using an online retailer like Amazon or a local halloween store to find most of the pieces for her costume. Etsy can also be an excellent resource.
For Bowsette’s hair, you’ll want to directly reference Princess Peach. Bowsette keeps hers pulled back, but it’s the same the cut and color. So unless you have very long, voluminous, golden-blonde hair with bangs, you’ll want to find a wig.
Bowsette wears a black strapless dress that has a tight bodice and an A-line skirt that hits the knees in the front of the garment and mid-calf in the back.
Atop Bowsette’s head you’ll find both horns and a crown. The crown is a fairly specific one; it’s gold with the eyes you find on Mario stars and a pink mushroom. (We recommend going to Etsy for this one.) The horns are short, Bowser horns.
Earrings & Jewels:
Bowsette wears the same big, blue earrings and blue jewel pendant on her chest. These should be easily attainable at a second hand store, or anywhere costume jewelry is sold.
Spiked Choker & Bracelets:
Her intimidating personality is represented throughout her accessories, as the dons many spikes. She’s got a spiked choker with black leather around her neck, and then bracelets around her biceps and wrists. These won’t be hard to find. She also wears sleek black leather boots with a little bit of a heel. Bowsette is not to be messed with.
Boots:
Bowsette is usually depicted as wearing some sexy black leather boots. These will compliment the costume well.
Turtle Shell:
You definitely can’t skip the turtle shell. You can find one with straps like a backpack—and some of them might even be backpacks, which can double as a purse!
Teeth:
Don’t mind going the extra mile? Pick up some vampire teeth. She’s got sharp ones.
