Shego Costume Guide

Kim Possible Shego Cosplay Costume - B Edition

CosplayFaeturedImage-38

Shego is the cartoon, green-glow-throwing villainess from the Kim Possible television show. Defending her employer, Dr. Drakken, this aggressive bad-girl does her best to fend off Kim Possible, Ron Stoppable, and his naked mole-rat. Her green and black suit and angry attitude are nostalgic for many who grew up with this memorable Disney show.

Shego keeps a very slim color palette of green and black. Even her skin is a pallor of light green. She wears a long-sleeved one piece suit that alternates from green and black throughout. She wears gloves and boots and her thick, dark hair swoops but somehow doesn’t get in the way while she’s trying to kick butt.

How to Dress Like Shego from Kim Possible

Head:

You will need a wig of long, black har. To make it look thicker you can brush it out, but be careful not to make it look frizzy. If you want, you can also dye your own hair, you just may not have the same length as Shego. For makeup, wear black lipstick and maybe darken your eyebrows with eyeliner and remember to look angry. If you want to get serious you could also get some light green foundation makeup from a costume store, maybe for a witch’s costume and use that on your face.

Suit:

The Shego suit might be hard to replicate yourself, so buying the suit online might be your best and easiest option. Otherwise, you could try black leggings and tuck in a tight, black long-sleeve shirt and then sew or hot-glue sections of bright green on or try to spray paint the green sections. Depending on the paint though, it might not show up on such a dark color. You could finish off your diy-made suit with a green belt.

Gloves:

If you buy the Shego suit online, it looks like it already comes with green and black gloves, but if you’re doing it yourself, the gloves could be made out of dish-washing gloves and painted or you could buy a pair of black and a pair of green gloves and then use one of each for your costume.

Boots:

The pre-made suit that is available online also covers your feet so you wouldn’t have to worry about shoes unless you go outside. You could also find a pair of long black boots at a thrift store and spray paint one green.
