Body:
Alongside the yellow body paint, you’re going to need some clothes for this costume. Luckily it’s something that every fancy dress store will have, a lab coat. Simple and white and something you can easily turn into something else at a later date, it’s a purchase you won’t regret.
Feet:
Alphys doesn’t wear shoes, so for this we suggest either painting those feet yellow to match the rest of your costume and wearing some yellow or white sandals. Or, the more popular choice, invest in some plush animal paw slippers. You can get dinosaur-style slippers in a variety of retailers both online and in a store. These really do make the outfit come together!
Accessories:
Alphys wouldn’t be Alphys without her specs. Luckily they are pretty standard, so get yourself a pair that are black, big and round and viola your outfit is complete! Oh, except for one thing…her tail! You can purchase plush dinosaur tails online but you can also make one really easily.
Start with two pieces of yellow felt, or any fabric you prefer, each cut to the size and style you want the tail to be. Now get sowing those pieces together! However, before you seal the two sides, stuff the tail with a filler, like cotton wool, for a 3D effect. For an extra bit of detail, you can use black felt to create spikes for the top of the tail. Attach this to the back of your lap coat and you will complete your Alphys costume.

Quotes:
A long time ago, I made a robot named Mettaton. Originally I built him to be an entertainment robot. Anyway, recently I decided to make him more useful. You know, just some practical adjustments. Like, um… Anti… Anti-human combat features?
