How to Dress Like Doctor Doom
Face:
Sadly for Doom, his face was scarred and disfigured horribly due to a science experiment run amok. As a result, he wears a chrome armored mask over his face.
Check around at your local Halloween store, or browse online retail and costume websites for a Dr. Doom mask. If you want to try something completely new, create a replica mask with some EVA foam and paint it with chrome craft paint.
Outfit:
Dr. Doom wears a black bodysuit underneath a green medieval-looking long shirt and a green cloak. He also sports a brown leather belt with a gold D-shaped buckle.
Purchase a black spandex bodysuit or, for a colder night, you can opt to wear yoga pants and a long-sleeved black shirt instead. For the long green shirt, search costume websites and Halloween stores for a medieval green tunic, or you can substitute this with a green dress.
For the cloak, any green cloak or cape will work, but you can often find high quality cloaks on Etsy and eBay.
Don’t forget the belt! Any brown belt with a gold buckle will work, but especially keep an eye out for one with a D shape! You can also browse thrift stores or custom fashion shops for one if you prefer.
Armor:
To truly finish off that iconic Dr. Doom look, you’re going to need some body armor. Dr. Doom is rarely ever seen without it! You could use a Halloween costume knight suit for this, the pieces for robotic arms and legs, anything you want to recreate that same chilling appearance! Browse around locally or online through any Halloween store or website to find what you need.
Get some metal feet and finger coverings to match, and wear a pair of black or gray socks and gloves underneath so your hands and feet won’t show. You can buy basic gloves and socks from any online clothing website or apparel store.
