Duke Nukem is the action hero who stars in the classic PC by the same name. He is an amalgam of all the cheesy 80s and 90s action stars, including Dolph Lundgren, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Arnold Schwarzeneggar and others. He has a strong likeness to The Boz, the football star turned B-Movie action hero. In the games, Nukem blasts a variety of extraterrestrial baddies who have disrupted his soap opera viewing activities… with a whole lot of bullet shells and one-liners discarded along the way.
How to Dress Like Duke Nukem
Duke Nukem is famous for his blond buzzcut and black wayfarer shades. To pull off a Duke Nukem costume, you should have a pretty strong build as the character is absolutely jacked. He shows off his guns (literally and metaphorically) by wearing a form-fitting red tank top with black trim and a bandolier belt to hold his shotgun cartridges. Duke also usually has a cigar firmly placed between his lips.
And of course Duke Nukem wouldn’t be Duke Nukem without a huge arsenal of weapons at his disposal, including his golden Desert Eagle.
