How to Dress Like Iron Fist

Iron Fist’s Mask:

Iron Fist wears a yellow mask similar to the black mask worn by ninjas. The mask has thick black lines around the edges of the eye holes. You can find a similar mask online or at a costume shop. If not, you can use a yellow cloth and cut out a mask shaped piece from it. Make the edges thin and long to resemble the tail. Check whether it fits your head properly. After that, mark the eyes and carefully cut out the cloth. Draw the black edges using a marker or spray paint.

Bodysuit:

The classic Iron Fist costume consists of a green spandex bodysuit with a yellow dragon-shaped symbol in the middle. The symbol represents Shao Lao, a mystical serpent defeated by him at the final trial of Kun Lun which grants him his powers.

Just purchase a green spandex bodysuit, draw the dragon symbol on a piece of cardboard and cut it out. Place the cardboard on the costume in a way that the symbol stays in the center. Use yellow spray paint to create the symbol. While painting the symbol, be careful not to spill any paint elsewhere since spray paint traces are difficult to remove. After wearing the bodysuit, tie a yellow Kung Fu sash around your waist to finish the look.

Boots:

The superhero wears knee high white colored boots with black edges around the soles. The boots are available at any local store or online. Mark the edges with a black marker.

Other Versions of the Costume:

If you are looking for more recent iterations of the Iron Fist costume, try using green spandex pants. Go to your local tattoo artist and get a temporary tattoo of the symbol on your chest. But remember, it’s best to have a good physique if you want to sport this look since Iron Fist is a martial arts master.

If you want to sport the looks of Danny Rand in the Netflix series, you will need a cotton t-shirt, kimono robe, linen pants, Tabi socks and an mp3 player.
