Guardians of the Galaxy Gamora Women's Costume

Gamora Costume Guide

Gamora is the green-skinned alien heroine from Guardians of the Galaxy – and sometimes love interest of Star-Lord. She is portrayed to have supernatural powers such as superhuman strength in addition to being able to heal at an accelerated rate. She is believed to be the last one of her species in the whole universe. Just like every superhero, Gamora has a unique costume.

Gamora has a light-green complexion with purple and black hair that falls over her shoulders. She also wears a tight-fitting black leather attire which comprises a pair of black trousers knitted together with a black top. On her waist, she wears a black belt which has copper and leather strips for holding her sword.

How to Dress Like Gamora from ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’

Head:

Gamora has a light-green skin, and her face has some noticeable scars; on her forehead and her cheeks. Therefore, to make your face look like Gamora’s, apply green makeup and mark scars just like the ones she has using fake scar makeup. Remember to paint the eyebrows black. Get long hair that has a mixture of purple and black to complete the look.

To make it simpler, you can find a hair wig that has the same characteristics other than dying your hair. For the rest of the body, instead of painting, wear a light-green long-sleeved silk clothing which is tightly fitting. You can add green latex gloves to cover your hands.

Clothes:

Find clothes that are made of black leather; a pair of pants sewn together with a black top. The clothes have a little shading of blue on the front part of the thigh and the chest. The top should be sleeveless, and the midsection from the neck should leave a space going down up to the diaphragm. The space left open can be stitched using a net-like piece of cloth.

The clothes should be perfectly fitting or else any loose points will spoil the look. The top should be like two strips which pass across the breasts downwards to the belt. Add a leather belt around your waist and make a leather strip to suspend your sword. To complete the look, wear leather wristbands on both hands that extend almost close to the elbow.

Boots:

To improve the Gamora look, add black boots that appear like wedge shoes. The boots should almost be up to the height of the knees. The boots should have leather straps that will be used to fasten the boots to the legs.

Accessories:

Gamora uses a distinctive sword that consists of 3 spires. You can purchase a replica online or if you are up for a fun project, you could try making one yourself by following a tutorial like this one: http://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-Gamora-Sword-Build/
