How to Dress Like Anger from ‘Inside Out’
Hair:
Anger’s hair is literally a blazing inferno, so watch out! With flames atop his head when he’s mad, you better stay out of his way.
You can get this look for yourself with the right wig. Look for one with streaks of yellow and orange to resemble flames and use hairspray or gel to keep it up in points. You can also use temporary dye to color your own hair in Anger’s style.
Complexion:
Anger’s face and hands are bright red as if he just got a bad sunburn. You can use red costume makeup or a strong spray tan to get a similar look.
Outfit:
Anger might be difficult to get along with, but he sure is a smart dresser! With his white buttoned-down dress shirt, his red striped necktie and his brown dress pants, he’d fit right in at a business meeting on Wall Street!
To get the same clothes, check out what’s available from online retail websites, your local shopping mall, costume websites and thrift stores.
While shopping, keep an eye out for a striped necktie. If you can’t locate one, you can improvise with a plain red necktie to use instead, and you can use a red permanent marker to draw stripes onto the tie if you prefer.
Accessories:
Anger wears basic black shoes. You can get yourself a pair of these from any shoe store.
To give your costume an extra spark of authenticity, buy a red transparent rubber bouncy ball to carry with you at your convention or party to resemble the crystal memory balls that Riley’s emotions collect for her.
Get your friends to dress up as other ‘Inside Out’ characters like Joy, Disgust, Sadness and Riley so you can all go out to your next upcoming costume event together!
