How to Dress Like Shazam

Hair:

Shazam has slicked-back dark brown hair, which you can recreate quickly with some hair gel and a cosplay wig.

Outfit:

Shazam wears a dark red shiny skin-tight leotard with long sleeves and a gold triangular plate on his chest. Check out the pre-made Shazam cosplay costume featured in this guide for a good authentic replica.

Shazam is also very muscular. You can use foam costume padding to add this extra detail to your outfit.

Accessories:

To add a few extra details to your Shazam costume, you’ll need some of his suit accents, including his gold belt, his matching arm cuffs and boots, and his long cape.

His belt has lightning bolt shapes cut into it in a repeated pattern wrapped around his waist, and his boots and cuffs are the same color.

Check Halloween stores and costume shops for these, or customize your own using craft supplies and gold paint. You can find boots at most shoe stores and retail websites to paint gold if you choose this option.

Shazam’s cape is long and white in color with gold Greek symbols forming a pattern along the bottom hem. It clips onto his gold chest plate. You can find capes online from Halloween stores and retail websites, or you can use a plain cape and add gold shapes with paint to customize it.

For one final addition, purchase some pink-colored bubblegum to bring with you to your upcoming convention, as well as a cell phone.
