How to Dress Like Wendy Corduroy from Gravity Falls
Hair & Fur Hat:
Wendy has long auburn hair which is slightly shaggy and hangs down almost over one eye with thick bangs. Her hair goes all the way down to her waist and is often covered by a dark brown fur lumberjack hat.
To recreate this casual look, you can dye and style your own hair or use an auburn colored wig to get the right appearance. Use a large flat hairbrush to tease it into a shaggy style.
Wendy also wears rugged fur hat like one you often see in colder climates. You will be able to find a similar hate online on places like Amazon.
Makeup:
Wendy doesn’t really wear makeup but she does have long eyelashes and a few freckles around her nose. You can wear mascara and draw on freckles for an extra detail to your costume.
Outfit:
Wendy wears a pine-green and black plaid flannel shirt with a white tank top and a pair of blue denim skinny jeans. The perfect outfit for a small-town girl, she always fits in wherever she is!
Don’t forget to button the shirt and turn down the collar to get Wendy’s same look for your own costume!
Accessories:
Wendy wears big oversized brown muddy boots. Go outside for a bit and stomp around in the dirt to get the same muddy look, or use brown acrylic paint to get a similar style.
Wendy sometimes wears blue earrings and her Mystery Shack employee name tag. Search online or at an office supply store for a blank clip-on name tag and use blue makeup or clip-on earrings to add some extra detail to your costume.
If your ears are already pierced, use blue studs to complete the Wendy look for your costume.
Stuffed Creature of Indeterminate Species:
In the Gravity Falls episode “The Time Traveler’s Pig”, Wendy desperately wants to win a toy at the county fair which resembles a duck – or a panda – nobody can decide! It’s weird but she wants one. This strange stuffed animal has become popular among Gravity Falls fans, prompting the creation of real plush toys of it.
You can purchase a similar-looking stuffed animal online from retail websites, sew your own toy or use any purple bird-like stuffed animal as a substitute.
