How to Dress Like Zero Suit Samus

Hair:

Zero has long platinum blonde hair which goes down past her waist and is usually kept in a high ponytail behind her head with a bright red hair elastic. You can get Zero’s hair for your costume either by dying and styling your own hair or wearing a wig.

Purchase some hair elastics too so you can tie back the hair in Zero’s big ponytail! Leave a few strands of hair at the front on either side hanging loose to get the Samus Aran look.

Makeup:

Zero wears black eyeliner and pale pink lipstick. You can find these makeup supplies online from retail websites and cosmetics shops.

Bodysuit:

The Zero Suit is by far the most stand-out feature Samus has. Bright metallic blue with darker blue accents, this full-length bodysuit has long sleeves and goes from her neck down to her toes. To recreate this colorful outfit, you can either purchase a pre-made Zero Suit Samus zentai bodysuit from retail websites and costume shops, or you can use a shiny blue leotard.

Accessories:

Samus wears a pair of very a large open-sided style with right yellow platform heels. You probably won’t find the exact match as its pretty customized and unique, but you an modify a pair of black platform heel shoes with some yellow acrylic paint to create your own homemade pair.

She wears matching black wrist cuffs with bright yellow accents. You can use bracelets or wristwatches to recreate this look.

Lastly, you’ll need one of Zero’s weapons – and she uses many, so there’s a good variety to choose from! Some of her most popular include her Paralyzer and her Plasma Whip.
