Captain Cold: DIY Cosplay Guide
Captain Cold, whose real name is Leonard Snart, is criminal mastermind the DC Universe who was often featured in the TV Series The Flash. Snart acquired his signature weapon, a “cold gun”, during a heist of S.T.A.R. Labs. After using the weapon to thwart The Flash during an attempt to disrupt his criminal activity, Snart officially became Captain Cold.
Captain Cold has worn different costumes depending on the medium. While in the comics he wore a bolder more retro kind of costume, on TV Lenny Snart is depicted wearing a large grey/blue parka to protect him from the intense cold emitted from his powerful cold gun. He pairs the parka with black pants, leather boots, ski gloves and a black turtle neck to keep him warm. Cold also uses a pair of ski goggles to protect his eyes.
