How to Dress Like Officer from ‘Blade Runner 2049’
Hair:
Officer K has a brown hair styled in a coifed manner using gel or pomade. If you already have brown hair but it’s too curly, you can use hair gel to nail down Officer K’s look. He also has a brown mustache, sideburns and a bit of stubble on his face. If you don’t, you can buy fake ones or even use a brown makeup pencil to draw these additional details on.
Outfit:
Officer K signature look includes a long brown trench coat that is lined with wool. (I guess androids DO dream of electric sheep!) Check out the link above for a trench coat similar to the one used by Ryan Gosling’s Officer K in Blade Runner 2049.
He wears a pair of brown pants and a long-sleeve black t-shirt. Add a black leather belt with a gold buckle for an extra detail to make your costume stand out.
Halt! Police!
Officer K is a cop in this futuristic version of L.A., so don’t forget to pick up a gold police badge and gun to add an authentic touch to your costume. Pick up a plastic gun and replica police badge online or design your own for a fun do-it-yourself project.
Shoes:
Officer K is a basic kind of guy, and his shoes are no exception. He wears a pair of black tactical boots which helps him get around when he’s out running after replicants. Check out the links above for a pair of tactical boots to help you achieve the Blade Runner look.
