Authentic Star-Lord Costume: DIY Cosplay Guide
Peter Quill (better known as Star-Lord) is the leader of the ragtag bunch of intergalactic heroes known as the Guardians of the Galaxy. When he’s not blasting classic 80s pop songs on his Walkman, he’s out scavenging for valuable relics or hunting down mercenaries.
Star-Lord is best known for his distinctive helmet with glowing red eye ports. The helmet features an internal communications system and an advanced HUD system which allows him to assess threats quickly and accurately. Perhaps most importantly, the helmet gives Quill the ability to breathe in space. For a human who needs to breathe oxygen to survive, that’s kind of a must-have feature.
The rest of his wardrobe consists of a maroon-colored leather trench coat with matching leather pants and some holsters for his quad blasters. And of course, no Star-Lord costume is complete without a walkman with orange headphones.
