Tinker Bell is the pixie fairy from Disney’s 1953 classic ‘Peter Pan’ who has become an icon in the pantheon of Disney characters. Tink is fiercely devoted to Peter Pan and follows him and his friends along on several journeys while providing a bit of dazzle by sprinkling fairy dust on them to help them fly.
Her deep devotion to Peter Pan leads to times when she is annoyed by others and acts out in jealousy, especially toward Wendy Darling. She’s worried that Pan may leave her behind as he goes on new adventures with Wendy and friends. But ultimately, she is driven by love for Peter and her friends.
The Tinker Bell Look
Tinker Bell is a diminutive figure, about the size of a human hand. From a distance, she resembles only a flying point of light, like a firefly. But when you get up close, you will notice her iconic look, including her blonde bob hairstyle, glittery insect wings and a green dress made from leaves. She also wears a pair of green ballet shoes with a white cotton ball on top.
